However, a recent government study done on a large scale has finally revealed some good facts about children and their cholesterol level in America.
According to this new study, the group of children who had higher levels of cholesterol in the past decade has fallen surprisingly. Experts of the study indicate that this significant transformation may not be because of the practice of eating less or exercising more, but may be because of the fewer trans fats they have been taking this time around.

The research in the decrease in cholesterol levels of a group of children was released last month by the Journal of Medical Association of America which also indicates that the cholesterol level among the children has slightly fallen overall as well on an average.
The Director of cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Boston, Dr. Sarah de Ferranti, said that it’s her leading theory that the reduction or removal of trans fat from your diet can help in reducing higher levels of cholesterol. Dr. Brian kit from Disease Control and Prevention also supported the theory saying that it makes sense.
