(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 25, 2012 ) San Diego, CA – Health and TB Inc. has launched their latest website in an effort to help teach the public about the dangers of Tuberculosis. The website was built as a way to provide the public with an easy to access area that will show them the causes, symptoms, and treatments for Tuberculosis. The website has become quite a vital resource since its launch for those at risk or prone to Tuberculosis.
Not everyone is as prone to suffering from Tuberculosis as others. The strength of the immune system in a patientÂ’s body plays a large factor in how susceptible that they are to developing Tuberculosis. There are several strains of Tuberculosis out there so it can be rather difficult to pinpoint exactly which one that a patient may be suffering from, but fortunately many of the treatments work for almost any type of strain that the patient is suffering from.
Tuberculosis is one of those conditions that almost every person will suffer from at one point in their life or another. While not everyone will react to their Tuberculosis infection the same way many of the symptoms of Tuberculosis are the same in almost every person, some just tend to have more symptoms than others. The most common symptom that is found in almost all patients suffering from Tuberculosis is a persistent cough. This cough generally lasts much longer than your regular cold cough, and also tends to sound like it is coming from much deeper in the lungs. Other symptoms include fever, night sweats, loss of appetite, and fatigue. Many of the Tuberculosis symptoms are quite similar to those of a common cold, but are much more severe and will require medical attention for treatment.
It is easy to contract Tuberculosis and the lower that a patientÂ’s immune system is the more susceptible that they are to contracting it. This means that cancer patients, especially those undergoing chemotherapy, HIV and AIDs patients are at an extremely high risk of contracting Tuberculosis. It is important to seek medical attention if there is even a possibility of a Tuberculosis infection. Few people actually develop pulmonary Tuberculosis, but these people are at risk for spreading it to other individuals without the proper selection of antibiotics that will need to be prescribed by a qualified physician.
