Beachbody to Release Brett HoebelÂ’s RevAbs on October 14th

(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 09, 2009 ) Oct 8th, 2009 – MIAMI, FL – Wednesday evening on the 7th of October saw Beachbody announce the imminent and long looked for release of Brett Hoebel’s RevAbs at-home fitness program for October 14th. Confirmation of this release date was accompanied by a serious amount of new information not only on the exercise program itself but on its creator, international celebrity trainer Brett Hoebel, who was present at the presentation and offered personal anecdotes and responded to questions from the assembled Beachbody coaches.

RevAbs is a revolutionary new workout that that focuses on sculpting the perfect aesthetics for your stomach, whether that be a six pack or simply a flat stomach or two parallel lines down the sides. While many ab routines have been touted as ‘revolutionary’ in the past, it is Brett Hoebel’s own background and qualifications that give serious heft to this new assertion, in that he approaches this workout routine with not only his 15 years of fitness experience but his own biomedical training from Claremont McKenna college. The resulting program combines a variety of strengths and approaches that include both a sound and cutting edge scientific approach to the enthusiasm and motivational power of Brett’s own charisma.

What was emphasized and seems to be key to this program is that Brett is not going to entertain any shortcuts, gimmicks or indulge in any obfuscation in order to deliver his results. RevAbs reviews show that it is to be a 90 day workout program that combines three different forms of workouts ranging from direct ab workouts to intense anaerobic cardio interval training to strength training with free weights. All three are united in Brett’s concept of ‘Abcentrics’, in that all exercises focus at all times on the abs.

The ab exercises themselves go beyond mere crunches, though Brett acknowledges their value. He explains that crunches are an example of ‘upper flexion’, and goes on to show how RevAbs will however also include lower flexion, double flexion, twist, and extension. Extension focuses paradoxically on your back, which Brett explains is key to developing a strong core due to the back’s role in balancing out the stomach muscles and providing leverage against which your abs can be better worked out.

The intense anaerobic interval training is geared towards melting the fat right off your body, and goes hand in hand with the nutrition advice that will be included in the RevAbs boxed set. You can have the hardest abs in the world, but if theyÂ’re covered by a layer of pudgy puppy fat nobody will ever be able to tell.

Finally Brett is including a significant amount of strength training that focuses on building lean muscle so as to develop your bodyÂ’s ability to burn fat. Lean muscle contains mitochondria, he explains, which are instrumental in burning and processing fat. The more fat you replace with lean muscle, the better.

The result is a program conceived through a scientific lens and which takes into account such modern concepts as HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), EPOC (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption) while demanding that you work in order to obtain your results. Carefully designed and then enthusiastically promoted by Brett, RevAbs promises to be a killer workout.
