Victoria Siegel's Death Prompts Drug Rehab Orlando to Urge Substance Abusers to Get Treatment

(Medical-NewsWire.com, June 23, 2015 ) Orlando, FL -- Victoria Sigel was found unresponsive in her family's Orlando mansion on Saturday, while her parents attended a wedding in Utah. Although the autopsy report hasn't yet been released for public dissemination- and may not be for three months- David and Jackie Siegel have issued a public statement through the voice of their attorney, Michael Marder, that Victoria likely "ingested one or more drugs prior to her death" but it's not clear "whether or not the drugs she took were in fact prescribed medication, something else, or where and how these drugs may have been obtained," according to the Orlando Sentinel on June 8th. Victoria recently returned from drug rehabilitation a month prior to her death. She battled with addiction to prescription medications meant to help her control seizures.

Drug Rehab Orlando is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center located in South Florida. The treatment facility specializes in heroin rehab in Orlando, but accepts clients from the entire state and the nation. The addiction treatment center asserts those struggling to overcome drug use disorders must seek treatment immediately to prevent fatal overdose.

Victoria was found to be unresponsive at around 2 p.m by the Sigel's housekeeper, according to the Orlando Sentinel. An associate from Drug Rehab Orlando states, "Even though we're not sure if Victoria's death was a result of an overdose, the fact that she tried to get herself help, and overcome the disease of addiction makes the uncertainty of the cause of her death even more heartwrenching. There are too many people who graduate from rehabilitation programs without the means of effectively managing their addictions outside of medically monitored treatment facilities.

"Relapse is a direct indication the causes for addiction still persist- whether due to a physical craving, or mental response to stimulus. During rehabilitation recovering addicts learn alternative methods to cope with stress and forgo drugs- that's why it's essential those struggling with substance use disorders must go to treatment, and continue treatment to learn how to avoid a devastating overdose."

Drug Rehab Orlando offers clients superior drug rehab in Orlando. Their drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs are designed to address the core of addiction and uproot the disease at the source. Clients receive medically assisted drug treatment upon their arrival to stave off the symptoms of withdrawal and reduce cravings for addictive substances. The treatment center provides the full spectrum of addiction treatment including: inpatient medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and sober living community residency.
