Consumers have the option of placing an order for testing online or over the phone before visiting one of more than 4,000 labs across the country at a time and location that is convenient for them. Most lab visits take less than 15 minutes.
Within one to three business days, consumers will have access to their results either by email, SMS, or online. In the event, a consumer receives a positive test result. A board-certified physician will call to discuss the results, as well as send a prescription to a local pharmacy. Most STDs, including syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, can be completely treated with a course of antibiotics.
A variety of testing options are available. They include 4 panel tests to detect HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, as well as comprehensive 8 panel tests that also test for Herpes Simplex, I and II, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. Individual tests are offered as well. All tests are FDA approved and do not require consumers to get undressed or be subjected to awkward swabbing. The tests are the same ones used in private physician's offices and hospitals nationwide.
