Syrtenty® Releases Portable Neck Traction Device

(Medical-NewsWire.com, February 09, 2015 ) Titusville, FL -- Neck traction devices used to be for clinic and home use only. In fact, one kind of cervical traction device is even being attached to the door. Now, patients can experience neck decompression and relief from neck pain anywhere by using Syrtenty® Rubber Neck Traction Collar.

Over-the-door neck traction device works by having a sand bag or water bag pull the neck and spine of the patient using a pulley system. At least 20 pounds of force should be used to start a neck traction, which could increase up to 50 pounds depending on the condition of the patient. This force must be applied for about 15 seconds, released, and applied again in a rhythmic pattern for 10 to 20 minutes.

This kind of neck decompression seem to be the more popular among all cervical traction devices available. However, according to Back2Basics, it is the least beneficial kind of neck traction because it is the least therapeutic. It simply pulls the neck and does not provide any cervical curve restoration benefit. In addition, its pressure is not easily adjustable and it puts pressure on the jaw and temporomandibular joint.

On the other hand, Syrtenty®'s rubber cervical traction device claims to provide not only the pull, but also has therapeutic effects on the neck and back. This neck traction collar is inflatable, so it comes with a soft squeeze bulb. It is also said to be one-size fits-all because of its Velcro strap that could be adjusted depending on the thickness of the neck of the patient, and its vertical inflation system that adjusts to the height of the neck. According to its Amazon product page, "It relieves neck and back pain, it stretches the spine, it improves your posture, and it is easy to put on and remove. With a few soft squeeze, you can get your desired stretch."

Syrtenty® boasts in its website that this neck traction device is made of quality rubber that is not easy to break or puncture. It also has a soft contact cloth cover around the chin and jaw area for the patient's comfort.

Moreover, Syrtenty® neck decompression collar is portable. Patients can use it anytime, anywhere. It is also chiropractor-approved. Nevertheless, patients need to consult with their respective physicians before using any neck traction device. That way, they can be assured of pain relief and complete healing.

Midwest Health Solutions is an authorized seller of Syrtenty® Rubber Neck Traction Collar that could be purchased through Amazon.
