Syrtenty® Replacement Lead Wires Save Patients From Electric Shocks

(Medical-NewsWire.com, February 06, 2015 ) Titusville, FL -- Syrtenty®, a company that manufactures and sells health and personal care products such as electrode pads, back brace, bed and chair pad alarms, and neck traction collars, releases its replacement leads for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) units. Replacement lead wires for TENS unit are used when the original lead wires that came with the unit have worn out.

Syrtenty®'s electrode wires are 45 inches long, and said to be more durable than the lead wires that come with the TENS unit package. According to Syrtenty®'s website, their TENS unit lead wires also have universal compatibility, and are safe to use. These electrode wires fit most of the available TENS brands and units available in the market today including TENS 2000, 5000, 7000, Pro; RS-TENS Plus; LG 3000; and Intelect TENS 77600, to name a few. Nevertheless, according to its product listing in Amazon, Syrtenty® lead wires do not fit EMPI or Prospera devices.

In terms of the safety of its usage, Syrtenty® claims that their electrode wires provide excellent conduction. They accurately transmit the current from the electrotherapy unit to the electrode pads on the skin of the patient, avoiding possible electric shocks or burns. These accidents are usually caused by poor quality electrode pads, but could also be caused by poor quality and defective lead wires.

Technology Associates Engineering Experts received a report about a lady who had third degree burn from using a TENS unit incorrectly. This can be avoided by at least making sure that the electrode pads and lead wires are of good quality. Website Healthline states, "Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy is considered mostly safe. On rare occasions, an electrical current will be too intense for a patient, causing burning or irritation on the skin."

These replacement lead wires are also reportedly tangle-free, and easy to store and bring anywhere.

Midwest Health Solutions is an authorized seller of Syrtenty® replacement lead wires for TENS unit and other Syrtenty® products that can be purchased through Amazon.
