(Medical-NewsWire.com, January 23, 2015 ) Miami, Florida -- The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition (also known for generations as The Youth Fair) will celebrate its 64th anniversary in 2015! The 2015 Youth Fair will open March 12 to April 5, 2015 (open daily except March 16-17 & 30-31).
Presented by Kia Motors of North America, The Coca-Cola Company and Sedano's Supermarkets, The Youth Fair is ranked the largest fair in Florida. In 2014, we hosted over 589,800 guests. This adrenaline-filled twenty-one day event includes over ninety heart pounding rides, two giant Kiddielands, outrageous Fair Foods, livestock and agricultural competitions, live concerts, blockbuster shows, a sensational European style circus and much, much more all within our 86 acre complex located in southwest Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition is a state-chartered, private, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching our community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this with the community kind support and by producing a first-class event, The Fair(TM), that provides guests of all ages magnificent entertainment. Our fairgrounds also provide quality facilities and resources for events, shows, concerts and festivals all year-round. We are also home to the Tamiami Youth Basketball League and the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Department's Summer Youth Camp.
There are three exhibition halls at The Fair Expo Center: Arnold Hall (78,000 sq ft) houses student and adult exhibits as well as concession booths;
E. Darwin Fuchs Pavilion (49,000 sq ft) will house The Fair's featured show.
Edwards Hall (36,000 sq ft) houses commercial merchandise booths is where you will find the FiterClub of America for the tenth year in a row.
