In order to reach out to a wider audience and gain followers, Ovvio Oils held a contest for the first 1000 people who liked the page. Five winners, who were selected through a lucky draw, received a free bottle of Ovvio Oils' popular product the Inhale Respiratory Blend.
"We wanted to introduce the company on Facebook by reaching out to an audience that has a keen interest in essential oils and related products. Our business page on Facebook not only provides updates on our products, it is also a good source of information on all things essential oils. This is the first contest we have held and the response has been tremendous. The contest was met with enthusiasm from the Facebook community, and the page quickly crossed the 1000 Likes mark it had set. There was a lot of active engagement from followers who commented, liked, and shared posts by the page.
Washington-based business Ovvio Oils launched its online store on e-commerce website Amazon in May. Since then, it has launched two products, Inhale Respiratory Blend and Prevent Insect Repellent. A few more products are in the pipeline and will be launched in the coming weeks, Slater said.
The Inhale Respiratory Blend was the first product launched on Amazon. It is made from six premium essential oils and is effective in treating symptoms of cold, cough, allergies, pneumonia, asthma, and other respiratory issues. Since its release, the product has received a lot of positive reviews from users. It is also the bestselling product in two categories on Amazon. Its seasonal product Prevent is an all-natural repellent free from DEET, chemicals, pesticides, alcohol, and animal-based ingredients. It contains lemon eucalyptus and 14 other oils that effectively keep insects and bugs at bay.
