Ballena Nelle pure raw yacon syrup supports natural weight loss and overall health this way.

Ballena Nelle does not specialize in weight loss supplements but introduced its yacon syrup in January 2014 because of its other health benefits.

Yacon has a sweet taste, but has a glycemic index of only one (glucose is 100) which makes it a healthy sugar substitute.

Researchers also believe that the inulin fiber in yacon, known as FOS, supports healthy digestion and increases the body's metabolism. This fiber is contained within part of the root system of the yacon plant, known as the tuber. Yacon has been used for medicinal purposes by the indigenous people of South America for thousands of years but has only recently been studied by modern researchers.
While there are several yacon syrup blends on the market, the Ballena Nelle product is raw and contains no fillers. It is harvested using cold pressing, filtering and low temperature evaporation techniques to extract the maximum amount of FOS.
