(Medical-NewsWire.com, May 26, 2014 ) Dallas, Texas -- In a recent press release, it was announced that a number of common chemicals have been proven to greatly increase breast cancer in rats and that women are most likely at risk as well.

While the news is nothing new, day to day, humans are exposed to deadly carcinogens, it was alarming that many of the sources are unexpected ones. The other cause for concern is that the sources are ones that women come in contact with on a regular basis.

Chemicals such as diesel fuel, gasoline, flame retardants and paint removers are generally known to be hazardous, but it's what could be lurking in any given woman's bathroom cabinet that leaves the world stunned.

Many shampoos, lotions and even make-up products are laden with potentially harmful ingredients. "It terrifies me to think of it," said Joy, a fifty year-old woman from Texas. She is no alone. There has been a recent emergence of women who are doing their homework and researching ingredients in their products and the announcement is serving to make those women more vigil. "Sometimes I slack and use a product that isn't organic and that probably has bad ingredients in it," Joy admitted. "But I will think twice about doing that now."

The article brought the facts home stating, ""Unfortunately, the link between toxic chemicals and breast cancer has largely been ignored. Reducing chemical exposures could save many, many women's lives."

Some of the known culprit ingredients are sulfates and petroleum products such as mineral oil. While women may think mineral oil is gentle and cleansing, the study indicates it is generally equivalent of crude oil. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is found in many foaming products such as shampoos. It has been proven to disrupt the endocrine system and has been suspected as a carcinogen as well. Now the warning is out.

"Some ingredients are not actually toxic until they are combined with another ingredient," stated Ann Williams, owner of the natural anti-aging company, La Beauté Pure. "But when a product has both of those ingredients in them, you can be sure they were mixed. That is why we work as closely with nature as possible to bring consumers organic products like our Serum Vitamin C which is full of great ingredients and has no sulfates, petroleum products or the other harmful ingredients mentioned."

The article also noted that when chemicals soak in through the unlikely sources, such as soaps and lotions, they have a direct path unlike when ingested and undergo the digestive process. "But that can be positive as well," explained Williams. "Good ingredients sink right in too like those in our Best Vitamin C Serum."

To ensure that dangerous carcinogens are not present in skin care products and other topically applied or inhaled items, it was suggested that women look for all-natural, organic brands that display their ingredients on the bottle and are eager to explain them. "If you can't pronounce it, stay away from it," Joy warned.

Organic Serum Vitamin C is the Best Vitamin C Serum to purchase and can be found on Amazon by La Beauté Pure. Other organic, all-natural skin treatments and beauty products can be found online and often on the shelf as well.
