Social Confidence Center Releases Program To Help Build Self-Esteem

Learn more about The Confidence Code

(Medical-NewsWire.com, October 14, 2013 ) Portland, OR -- Clinical psychologist and social confidence expert Dr. Aziz has recently announced the release of a new program called The Confidence Code. This program is designed to help men overcome social anxiety, shyness, and low self-esteem. Social anxiety, which is a growing problem in the United States, is closely linked with self-esteem. Treatments targeting self-esteem can help increase confidence, decrease anxiety, enhance people's social lives, and increase a sense of well-being.

Self-esteem is a term used in psychology to describe how someone views themselves. When someone has low self-esteem, he tends to view himself poorly, as if he is not as good as others. Symptoms of low self-esteem include feelings of inadequacy and inferiority, a sense of low self-worth, increased self-criticism, comparisons to others, and fear of disapproval. These symptoms often manifest in individuals as social anxiety, which is based on a fear that one is not good enough to be loved by others.

In his new program, The Confidence Code, Dr. Aziz attempts to help men release their shyness and social anxiety by teaching them how to increase their self-esteem. Dr. Aziz states, "There are a lot of books out there that tell you about increasing your self-esteem, but very view of them actually show you how to do it. I wanted to guide men through a process of increasing their self-esteem, as if they were with in session directly with me."

As a result, this program consists of interactive video trainings that engage participants to reflect on their own self-worth. Dr. Aziz teaches where self-esteem originates, and what the main obstacles are to increasing self-worth and confidence. In addition, he provides participants with detailed questions and activities to uncover their own blocks to liking themselves for who they are.

"The essence of self-esteem is to like yourself as you are. This might sound simple, but we all know how difficult it can be to truly love ourselves," states Dr. Aziz. In order to increase the effectiveness of the program, Dr. Aziz also provides participants with a hypnotic audio program to listen to each night before bed. Hypnosis can be a powerful way to impact the subconscious mind that contains strong convictions about worth and lovability. By impacting these beliefs directly, it is possible to make changes at a deep level that will become noticeable in day to day life.

In addition to addressing self-esteem, The Confidence Code also has a section focused on improving social skills. According to Dr. Aziz, "without basic social skills, it's hard to be confident, no matter how much we like ourselves. We need to trust that we can do the basic stuff, such as starting conversations or meeting new people."

The program includes a module that teaches the 9 Elements Of Social Mastery, which focuses on the development of basic social skills. These include body language and eye contact, starting conversations, small talk, making friends, meeting women, flirting and dating, and building solid relationships.

In a recent interview about The Confidence Code, Dr. Aziz states, "Life is a lot better when you really like yourself and believe in your abilities. It is my hope that this program will help men do just that."
