Neal explained that there are several opportunities for CNAs, not just working in a nursing facility. She said many work in nursing homes, long term care facilities, home health care, some hospitals and some group homes utilize CNAs, as well.
Being a CNA is a very tedious job because of the direct physical contact nurse aids have with the patients, including all the work they must do for both nurses and doctors, but it’s also one of the most rewarding jobs a person can have.
Neal also stressed that the Linton WorkOne office will also work with anyone looking to make a career move in the medical industry, providing resources and jobs if they are available.
