(Medical-NewsWire.com, June 06, 2013 ) Altamonte Springs, FL -- A generous and significant six-figure dollar amount donation by Dr. Kanani to the dental facility allowed the University of British Columbia Dental School to build and open two conference rooms in the J.B. Macdonald building, where the research and clinical departments for the dental school are housed.
The two new rooms are named after Drs. Aly and his wife Aliya Kanani as the Aly Kanani Conference Room and the Aliya Kanani Conference room, who generously donated the money to build the rooms. With the money, the school was able to build state-of-the-art facilities with glass walls on one side of the room, and large flat screen televisions for use of learning and business on the opposite wall.
According to Dean of the UBC Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Charles Shuler the rooms will provide an adequate area for researchers, dentists and student dentists to come together in their efforts to further the advancements of the dental profession for years to come.
