In April of 2012, Susan and her brother, Dr. Jerry Buss, the late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, were both diagnosed with cancer. Susan was diagnoses with breast cancer and Dr. Buss with abdominal cancer.
Susan treated herself with an Indian herbal formula. Her brother chose traditional medical treatment. The book tells of the two very different paths of treatment that were taken and reveals their outcomes.
