With these concerns in mind, Den of Goods has now launched a 3 minute demonstration video to show how to use the thermometer for taking surface and body temperatures.

The TempIR Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included in the pack, along with a carrying pouch. The thermometer has a 30 second automatic shut off feature to preserve battery life, and temperatures can be measured in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Because the thermometer is non-contact, a second reading can be taken immediately if for example there are two sick children in the household. This speed of reading is demonstrated in the video, when hot and cold surface temperatures and also body temperature are taken within a matter of seconds.
