Crows Feet: confirmed 45% reduction when human protein used in cosmetic cream

(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 09, 2008 ) New York – DermaPlus, Inc. recently announced the results of a third- party study proving participants applying DermaLastyl anti-aging skin cream had up to a 45% reduction in crow’s feet. These results were confirmed using the most sophisticated measurement technology available: before and after computer analyzed digital photographs, and an in-vivo skin profiling system.

“Thirty-five subjects with visibly fine lines around the eye area participated in the 12-week study using our DermaLastyl anti-aging cream. The study was performed under the supervision of Dr. Steven Lamm, the ‘house doctor’ on The View TV show. They were provided with a supply of the DermaLastyl along with instructions for use and were then imaged with a VISIA CR 2-D Digital Imaging Booth and a PRIMOS 3-D Profilometry Optical Imaging system operated by Canfield Scientific, Inc. The subjects returned after
6 weeks and again in 12 weeks for follow-up digital and profilometry imaging and evaluation. The final results documented up to a 45% reduction in skin roughness in the crow’s feet area around the eyes. Now we have irrefutable evidence to support our efficacy claims. A copy of the study is available and will be emailed to interested parties,” notes Dr. Burt Ensley, CEO DermaPlus, Inc.

DermaLastyl is the first cosmetic product ever to contain a completely functional human protein, Elastatropin, a synthetic form of natural elastin. Elastin, the second most abundant protein in the skin, is responsible for the elasticity of skin and organs, and its degradation is a well-known irreversible cause of wrinkles.

DermaLastyl is not yet available in stores but can be purchased online at http://www.dermalastyl.com/ or by calling 800-335-8312. Distribution will be expanded to include retail and department stores worldwide in the coming months.
